CLANS

summary

If Werewolves don’t join Packs, they typically become Rogues. The Rogue Master is more parental than political and can be found beneficial for those who seek shelter or assistance. Rogues are not obligated to obey their Rogue Master as one would an Alpha. Many believe that simply defeats the purpose of being Rogue. However, there are some cases where Rogue Werewolves form alliances around common interest, beliefs or ambitions. Therefore, it’s not uncommon for Rogue Werewolves to completely disown the “Rogue” title and mentality, for something more self-proclaimed, independent, and unconventional.

When this occurs, Werewolves form a “Clan”. These Clans are typically self-governing and rebellious. Oftentimes, Clans are organized by anarchists and result in defiant behavior and chaos. A prime example of this would be the members of Gangland. This self-proclaimed Werewolf gang is comprised of criminals, thieves, and delinquents, known as Flies, who follow their Gang Leader, known as The Spider.

These Clans will often claim their own territory and establish their Dens across the land. The territory is often abandoned locations that have not yet been inhabited by Packs. However, these Clans are often prone to extinction because they are conquered by Packs or rival Clans. Nevertheless, this doesn’t stop them from being created.

Considering that Werewolves are naturally Pack animals by instinct, Clans are very common to establish a sense of alliance, despite the fact these Clan members may have aversion to authority. Due to their unpredictable and chaotic tendencies, Clans are outlawed in certain countries.
