Occultists practice in the arts of "sorcery" or "voodoo", they been shunned by the spirits of the Earth and lack assistance from them. However, through a loophole, they are able to call upon the damned. Harnessing the dark energy, they perform "dark or black magic”.

Special Abilities

Spellbinding

Spellbinding is the most basic skill of Spirit Wolves and Occultists. It is the act of mesmerizing or manipulating one's thoughts. Spellbinding is a general power and unlocks different abilities at each level. However, there are limitations.

 

Limitations

  • A spellbinding cannot be undone from a different spellbinding; the only person who can remove it is the person who placed it. However, a spellbinding can be placed over it. For example, a werewolf cannot make someone forget they had a burger and fries, but they can make them think they had a burger, fries, and a milkshake.

  • A spellbinding comes undone if the person who performed the spellbinding dies

  • A spellbinding builds off of people’s current memory and emotion. The more skilled a conjurer is, the more ability they have to manipulate memory and emotion. For example, a novice could make someone forget they had a date with their boyfriend. Doing this might make that person not love their boyfriend. However, a prodigy can manipulate emotion and simply spellbind that person into not loving their boyfriend.

Acumen

  • Spellbinding

Can remove memory completely. Can manipulate emotion slightly.

  • Telepathy

Communicating through thought.

  • Influence protection

Keeping spirit wolf magic from affecting oneself.

  • Hearing Subdual

Force field that hides voices so anyone outside of the field cannot hear.

  • Scent Subdual

Masking the scent of oneself so other werewolves cannot detect their scent.  ​​

  • Camouflaging

Invisibility that hides one for a short period of time

  • Senses Input

Also known as sense stealing, this is when an Occultist connects with a certain person and taking their senses for oneself. This includes taste, smell, and touch.

  • Recovery

Either self-inflicted or unintentional time-travel. This can only be accessed if crossing an energetic threshold accumulated over a certain area. Crossing the physical threshold can cause one flashback of a previous event through smell, taste or touch.

Prodigy

  • Spellbinding

Can remove memory completely. Can manipulate emotion completely.

  • Telepathy

Communicating through thought and or manipulating another person's thoughts.

Force field that hides voices so anyone outside of the field cannot hear.

  • Scent Subdual

  • Elimination

Stunning someone’s enhanced senses or abilities for a small amount of time.​​

  • Hallucination

Similar to spellbinding, hallucination makes one see whatever the occultist wants them to see for a short period of time.

  • Compulsory Transformation

Under the influence of a full moon, an occultist can force a werewolf to transform against their will

  • Hazing

Creating clouds or weather to hide a full moon.

  • Camouflaging

Invisibility that hides one for a long period of time

  • Senses Input

Also known as sense stealing, this is when an Occultist connects with a certain person and taking their senses for oneself. This includes taste, smell, hearing, touch, sight.

  • Recovery

Either a self-inflicted or unintentional time travel. This can only be accessed if crossing an energetic threshold accumulated over a certain area. Crossing the physical threshold can cause one flashbacks of a previous event through smell, taste, touch, hearing or seeing.

  • delirium hex

A spell that makes someone hallucinate.

  • Possession

Taking over someone else's body by placing their soul into theirs. This is excruciating and difficult and can be dangerous, for sometimes someone cannot return back to their body.

  • Regeneration

If a limb has been cut off, the body's cells and molecules can be manipulated into reforming the lost body part. Rigor mortis, or a stiffening of the body, sets in about two to six hours after death. While the body as a whole may be dead, little things within the body are still alive. Skin cells, for example, can be visibly harvested for up to 24 hours after death. This gives a werewolf within 24 hours to have something regenerated. 

  • blood oath

A method to secure a spell with no way of unbinding it.

  • necromancy

The ability to talk to the dead.

  • Resurrection/Rebirth

Bringing one back from the dead using a ritual

 

sacrificial occultism  

The more people they kill, the more power they get. They are called Soul Harvesters or Soul Reapers.
