Control

Some Werewolves can control themselves while in form, and others act like deranged and dangerous animals while in form. Each Werewolf has a “Transformation type”, controlled or uncontrolled.

Pain

The physical act of transforming is extremely excruciating, especially to someone who is undergoing their Upstart Reaction Phase. However, it can be mastered over time and the transition becomes slightly less painful.

Time

A newborn Transformation can take anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes. While an experienced Werewolf can Transform under 5 minutes. Transformation time depends on two variables: How experienced they are and how strong the impulse is.

Triggers

There are many reasons one might Transform. Most of these reasons are known as “triggers”. A Werewolf who’s overstate is anger, might find aggression trigger a Transformation. However, Transformations can also take place by their own will, the moon or influence of compulsion.

Stages

One does not simply turn from human to Werewolf, in order for this to happen, the person will have to go through stages to be able to take place in their Wolf form.

  • Fur thickens and covers full body

  • Hands and feet turn into paws

  • Enhanced senses develop
