analysis
Lucian's mindset is the product of his intricate emotions and behavior. For others, Lucian is very challenging to understand and he agrees. Lucian has a hint of mystery to his demeanor, as he will leave other's impressions of him open to interpretation. He is discreet regarding his outer expression, for Lucian is afraid of vulnerability. He shuns intimacy of any kind, despite his desperate need for connection. Therefore, he remains secretive of his true thoughts and desires.
The few who know the deepest parts of Lucian's soul will deem him a genuinely sentimental person. Lucian will easily be prompted to experience intense feelings of tenderness, sadness or nostalgia.
When it comes to his tenderness, Lucian has a great capacity for loyalty and affection. Whether that be his friends or his romantic interest, Lucian is very protective and devoted to his loved ones. He is tenacious in any and every situation. He will fight to the death to defend those he respects and admires. When Lucian pledges his loyalty, it will never turn fickle. Lucian is very reliable and will never break a promise. In his mind, a commitment to a person is final and eternal.
If Lucian trusts someone, they will see the true extent of his gentle nature. He is able to empathize with other people's pain and suffering. Lucian is particularly compassionate towards those who endure many hardships, for he hasn't had the most fortunate life himself. Lucian can be incredibly kind and attentive, doting to someone's every need. For when Lucian cares about someone, he cares about them more than his very self. Falling in love is never intentional for Lucian, for he is aware just how strongly he will be forced to confront his sensitive feelings.
Concerning his sadness, Lucian is very capricious and brooding. Lack of acceptance, patience, and love during his childhood manifested through mood swings later in his life. He developed a pessimistic attitude towards most people, especially himself. Lucian views himself in a very corrupt perspective. He has a profound self-loathing for his mere existence. His Werewolvism and past vices have haunted him for centuries. He often projects his insecurities onto others in order to cope with his own guilty conscience.
However, it is evident when Lucian is spiraling into a pit of emotional torment. Lucian becomes very sullen when feeling remorse. He mentally degrades himself and outwardly displays morose behavior. It is an internal battle between anger and melancholy. Or in even more convoluted circumstances, he will be furious that he is depressed in the first place. When this occurs, Lucian's words will become curt, his mannerisms will become dour, and his temper becomes volatile. He shuts down and becomes unresponsive. Once he's realized that his actions have dismayed others, he becomes somber and regretful. Then it's only a matter of time until the vicious cycle repeats itself.
Regarding his nostalgia, Lucian prefers to dwell in his pleasant memories. As many years as he has lived, Lucian has a closet full of skeletons. Therefore, his coping mechanism is to simply pretend they aren't there. For he knows he will be plagued by guilt if he reminisces about his sins. Lucian lives his life in an effort to make right of all his wrongs, for he yearns to redeem his humanity. Lucian percieves Werewolvism as a curse and despises what bloodlust has done to him. As a result, he has a sentimental longing for the past, before his innocence was corrupted.
Guided by emotion and his heart, Lucian is very intuitive. His zodiac sign is ruled by the Moon, making him even more in touch with his Werewolvism. The phases of the lunar cycle deepen his internal mysteries and create fleeting emotional patterns that are beyond his control. His instincts are more primal than his fellow Werewolf brethren, making him uncommonly passionate and impulsive. Despite how much Lucian detests his species, he is the embodiment of Werewolvism itself.

Backstory
1300s
Lucian was born on July 8th, 1329 in France. During his birth, it was evident that he was different from his parents and fellow Placid Pack members. Lucian had a black fur coat and striking amber eyes. It was indisputable that Lucian descended from Black Wolves, the extinct members of The Cryptic Pack.
His father, Sylvian Othello thought Lucian had the potential to be the new Alpha and repopulate his ancient civilization. Lucian could breed a new bloodline of Werewolves with powers, unlike anything the modern Werewolvian society has ever seen. Black Wolves' abilities had been lost since prehistoric times. With proper training, Lucian could build an army strong enough to protect generations to come. The current Alpha said that when Lucian came of age, they would dictate whether or not he was eligible to be the new Alpha.
Lucian was very close with his family during his childhood. His parents, Sylvian and Yvette were genuinely loving and accepting of Lucian despite his differences. They believed Lucian was special and deemed him the golden child. Lucian and his younger sister Thomasine were the best of friends. She looked up to Lucian and sought to follow in his footsteps in the hopes of being the first female Alpha. Lucian taught Thomasine everything she knows, including how to hunt prey. They confided in one another and spent their days running through the forest. Lucian was very protective of his little sister and in return, she respected him like no other.
Lucian's older brother Beauregard, on the other hand, did not share the same fondness. Beauregard was jealous of him. He resented Lucian for the incessant praise and encouragement he received from their parents. As the oldest child, he expected to be a candidate for future Alpha. However, he lived in Lucian's shadow. Beauregard tormented Lucian by constantly trying to upstage him. He used his handsome features and charm to beguile all of Lucian's romantic interests. When he was feeling particularly antagonistic, he would pick fights with Lucian in attempt to humiliate him. Beauregard regularly bullied his little brother, much to Lucian's dismay.
Despite the bad blood, Lucian and his siblings were raised to be a morally upright Wolves. The expectation to be an utterly wholesome person was both stressful and unachievable for them. Lucian's pack was governed by a sadistic cult. Although the Alpha taught the pack members the ethics of Religious Werewolvism, the system of rules was very extreme. For if one disobeyed Pack Law, they would be severely punished.
Lucian witnessed his own brother suffer the consequences of his actions. One evening, Beauregard fornicated with Lucian's potential mate to spite him. When he was brought to trial to confess his vices, Beauregard admitted his jealousy drove him to misbehave. The Alpha then dictated his punishment. For each of the seven sins that a pack member committed, their sin would be tattooed into their flesh. Lucian watched as his brother was tied down and the word "Envy" was marked onto his cheek.
Throughout Beauregard's life, he acquired "Greed" onto the mural of his body's tattooed sins. Whereas Thomasine's flesh eventually was imposed with the word "Sloth". Lucian was horrified by the hypocrisy of his pack's religion. They spoke of virtue and yet they inflicted pain on their members through such drastic measures. What made matters worse, was the fact Lucian's parents never opposed the torture and humiliation. Despite how much they loved their children, they were brainwashed to believe the religion's teachings were sacred.
Lucian's bond with his parents slowly began to disintegrate. Sylvian pressured Lucian into compensating for his sibling's transgressions. He forced Lucian to study religion and politics in order to prepare him for his new position as Alpha. The pack had great faith in Lucian and saw him as a deity. They called him "The Dark Wolf" and placed him on a pedestal. In their eyes, Lucian could do no wrong. For he was the only pack member that had not committed any sins.
However, Lucian eventually succumbed to his own desires. It began with Lucian's first dreadful relationship. Lucian had preserved his virginity for 18 years in the hopes of gifting it to someone special. His mate, Margot Dubois urged him to give her pups. Lucian knew that Margot only wanted his litter to establish her position as his future Consort. She did have the sin "Pride" tattoed onto her flesh after all. Moreover, Lucian knew that she had been having a surreptitious affair with Beauregard.
This was the dawn of Lucian's haunting insecurities. The fear that he will never be good enough for anyone or amount to anything beset him. Although his pack had high hopes for him, those who were closest to them were the ones who hurt him the most. His parents were despotic and indoctrinated by religion. His brother was a bellicose megalomaniac who sought his demise. And his mate was a manipulative adulteress. Regardless of the many people around him, Lucian was terribly lonely.
One evening, Lucian met a remarkable woman. She was human yet there was something extraordinary about her. Lucian discovered Bloodlust for the first time, as her scent was so enticing. Little to his knowledge, she was a cambion. A species that is half human and half incubus. She was a creature so incredibly alluring that Lucian could barely resist her temptations. What enchanted him even more, was her unparalleled personality. She was charming, witty, intelligent and humane. The woman was exceptional and her name was Anastasia Gyeong.
Lucian marked her as his Soul Mate and fell hopelessly in love with her. Anastasia evoked a feeling in Lucian that he never knew existed. Despite her being human and himself already having a mate, they exchanged virginities. They continued to see each other secretly over the course of many months. Thomasine discovered Lucian's infidelity but kept her brother's secret. However, all lies come to the surface and Sylvian found out about Lucian's other woman.
Lucian was brought to trial and accused of adultery. The first sin "Lust" was tattooed in large lettering over his chest to symbolize the wickedness of the heart and flesh. Lucian was stripped of the rights to become Alpha and he was demonized by his pack. Lucian was indifferent to the animosity, for he had Anastasia by his side. That was until she met rather unfortunate circumstances. The Black Death was a devastating global epidemic of bubonic plague that struck Europe and Asia in the mid-1300s. It killed 20 million people, including Anastasia.
Lucian spiraled into a pit of utter despair. He used hunting as a coping mechanism to deal with the stress. However, things quickly got out of hand. Initially, Lucian only preyed on the dying. Those who were fallen ill of the plague were easy pickings for Lucian. They were doomed to die and he could hunt without remorse. However, his eating habits transformed into gruesome tendencies. He became an Extremist Brute, killing hundreds of people within a small matter of time. It was unlike anything the pack had ever witnessed. Even Thomasine thought Lucian had become someone she could barely recognize. Lucian then acquired the sin of "Gluttony" tattooed below his stomach.
Sylvian thought Lucian needed reform. He suggested that joining the pack's Justice Soldiers would straighten him out. However, Lucian was disbanded for being far too brutal. Then the sin of "Wrath" was tattooed into his right forearm. The pack was horrified at Lucian - the fallen angel. For he had once been so righteous. Now he had more scars of his sins than anyone else in the pack. They saw him as a tarnished soul whose only option was absolution.
Lucian refused redemption. He had completely disengaged himself from his pack due to their unethical religious beliefs. Lucian went Rogue, much to the dismay of his estranged family.
1400s
In the 15th century, Lucian traveled across the oceans to Scotland. Lucian met a curious fellow named Callum Mac Alaistar. They became fast friends, for Lucian is Cancer and Callum is Scorpio. They both resonated with one another on account of they were both outcasts in their pack. Despite this familiarity, their friendship would be forbidden. Callum belonged to The Abstruse Pack and it was evident that Lucian was a descendant of The Cryptic Pack. Callum's father Eric was the Alpha and would not approve of his association with a Black Wolf. For segregation of black and white wolves was a tradition as old as time.
Callum kept Lucian's secret from his father and introduced Lucian to his pack. Lucian received immediate acceptance and fondness from The Abstruse members. Especially Callum's dearest friends, Elspeth and Finn. The four of them developed an unbreakable bond. They hunted together, laughed together and cried together. Although Lucian had left his family, he had found a sublime replacement. The only tension among the friends was between Lucian and Callum's younger sister.
Lucian and Elspeth shared skinny love but it was not apparent to the others. Finn and Callum complicated things immensely. For Callum was very protective of his little sister and would never approve of her relationship with Lucian. Additionally, Elspeth was already promised to Finn. She had rejected his proposal to be his mate, however, he was persistent at gaining her affection. Above all, Elspeth's father would rather perish than allow her to be mates with someone who wasn't Abstruse. Nevertheless, Cryptic. Lucian knew better than to interfere with her pack members.
Callum observed that Lucian was excruciatingly lonely. He spoke of Anastasia frequently and his incapability to move on. With good intention, Callum wanted to surprise Lucian with her return. Callum discussed his plan to resurrect Anastasia with Finn. He agreed but Finn had other intentions. He suspected Elspeth had feelings for Lucian. By reuniting Lucian with his true love, he would grow distant from Elspeth. Then she would be vulnerable and seek Finn as comfort.
Finn had become a prodigy Occultist and he resurrected Anastasia. Then Callum prepared to give his gift to Lucian. When Lucian reconciled with Anastasia, he was outraged Callum turned her into a Werewolf without his permission. Lucian's guilty conscience tormented him. For Anastasia's soul had been tainted with the same darkness he possessed.
Callum explained that he thought she would make Lucian happy. But this statement eased Lucian's pain little to no avail. His friendship between Callum and Finn was poisoned with bitterness. Lucian and Anastasia departed Scotland forever. Callum and Finn were despondent, but nowhere near as heartbroken as Elspeth.
1500s
Lucian and Anastasia traveled back to France. They spent their days together, venturing into their new eternal life. For a century they were drunk on happiness and love. Nonetheless, Lucian's insecurities plagued their relationship. He was afraid Anastasia would abandon or betray him similar to his family. He also experienced intense guilt on account of being partly responsible for her Werewolvism. However, she was adamant at proving her devotion to him. For Anastasia was jubilant with her newfound immortality.
To redeem what he considered to be his sins, Lucian sought to provide Anastasia a glorious life. Lucian became a member of the bourgeoisie, a sociologically defined middle class in France. He became an individual businessman, dabbling in merchant and artisan services. Lucian strived to give Anastasia everything she wanted and more. His arduous labor put food on the table and money in their pockets. But it also allowed them to reside in a beautiful home and travel often.
Anastasia yearned for a litter of pups, however, Lucian opposed breeding more monsters like him. Despite the wish his father had for a bloodline of Cryptic Werewolves, Lucian wasn't concerned with power anymore. He was content with his humble life in France.
One of Lucian's fondest memories with Anastasia, was when they climbed Europe's highest mountain in the French Alps. Mont Blanc takes 10 to 12 hours for a human to climb to the summit, but with their supernatural speed, they reached the top in mere minutes. They enjoyed the view in the wintertime snow, sat by a bonfire and drank France's finest wine. The moment was the epitome of perfection. Anastasia uttered the words, "I believe we belonged to each other before we began existing on this earth. And we will continue to belong to each other long after we ascend." Lucian knew that instant, Anastasia was more than his Soul Mate, she was his salvation.
1600s
A peak of attention to Werewolvism arose during the early 17th century European witch-hunts. Lucian urged Anastasia to flee Europe with him. However, Anastasia was stubborn and refused to abandon their home and life in France. Their lives were in jeopardy and they constantly had to elude the dangers around them. Anastasia insisted they form allies to protect them. Lucian sought out potential alliances to keep Anastasia out of harm's way.
It was around this time Lucian met Alice Devereaux. She was on trial after being accused of Werewolvism and witchcraft. The moment she was about to be hung with a silver chain, Lucian rescued her. Alice was not only grateful towards Lucian but she was utterly enamored with him. As someone who had been forced to fend for herself throughout her life, it was the first time someone came to her aid. Alice expressed her thankfulness and promised she would return the favor.
Lucian had then formed a new ally. Alice revealed she was an incredibly powerful Sacrificial Occultist. Although Lucian opposed her black magic, he knew she was their only chance to survive. Alice vowed to grant any wish Lucian desired, regardless of the matter. Lucian begrudgingly accepted her offer.
For many years, Alice relentlessly tried to gain Lucian's affection but to no avail. She realized Anastasia was the obstacle in her path. Taking drastic measures, Alice went to the council and reported a case of Werewolvism. That same day, Anastasia went missing. Lucian feared the worst and set out to find her. After nearly a week, he discovered she was crucified in the town square with silver nails. Lucian was horrified and took on all the blame, oblivious to what Alice had done.
After rescuing Anastasia, he discovered that she was pregnant and had miscarried. For she was severely malnourished during her crucifixion. Lucian was once again beset with guilt. For if she wasn't a Werewolf, she would have never been harmed. He implored Alice to remove Anastasia's Werewolf curse and revive her humanity. Alice agreed to create the Vilissagin potion but with a condition. Lucian could spend the remainder of Anastasia's human life with her but when Anastasia died, Alice will harvest her soul for more power.
Lucian argued that if she died, he wanted to die with her. He wanted to take the Vilissagin potion as well. His persuasive method was that Alice would then have two souls to harvest. Alice agreed to these terms and created the second elixir. However, she evaded the fact she placed White Snakeroot in his potion. This would act as a placebo in the Vilissagin. Lucian's Werewolvism would be suppressed, so he believes he is human. However, after a few decades it would wear off and he would return to normal. To perfect the diabolical plan, Alice cursed them with a Delirium hex. This would make them believe Lucian is aging.
Lucian and Anastasia returned to their normal lives. Although Anastasia was human, Lucian was still a Werewolf. For 94 years they believed that they would die together. However, the Delirium hex began to wear off. Lucian looked in the mirror one evening and realized he had not aged a single year. His thirst for blood had returned as had his ravenous appetite. He looked at Anastasia who was feeble and grey. His heart sank and he knew that she would soon die without him.
Lucian was distraught. One day he felt compelled to take his own life, knowing he would be reunited with Anastasia in the afterlife. However, she urged him to preserve his immortality and her legacy. The moment Anastasia died in Lucian's arms was the demolition of his life's purpose. For he had witnessed her perish for the second time. Only it was far more painful than the first.
Lucian knew you could not resurrect someone who has died from old age. He knew that Alice had deceived him and was filled with a fury of a thousand men. He spent decades hunting her down to reverse the damage she had done. Lucian knew Anastasia could not experience a rebirth, but he was determined to find a loophole.
1700s
Lucian located Alice in 1700 and unleashed his wrath. He said that he would make Alice suffer a fate worse than death if she did not bring Anastasia back. Alice proposed another deal. He knew better than to trust Alice for a second time but he was desperate. Her arrangement included that she would allow Anastasia's soul rest for 400 years. That would give her enough time for Lucian to fall in love with her. Then in the year 2000, she would transfer Anastasia's soul into the fetus inside a pregnant woman. Then Anastasia could be born again and have a chance at a new human life.
Lucian might have been desperate, but he was not naive. He refused to be manipulated again. He probed for her true intention and she revealed she wanted Lucian's love in return. Her only condition for restoring Anastasia's life was that she would sever all ties between Lucian and Anastasia. If Lucian allowed her to erase all memories she had of Anastasia, she would perform the resurrection.
Lucian was confident that he would be reunited with Anastasia one day. Regardless of his abhorrence for religion, Lucian believed in Mate Fate. The religious belief that two Soul Mates will always be bound, regardless of any spellbinding, death or circumstance. Lucian agreed to her terms.
To seal the deal, Alice performed a Blood Oath. Therefore, it would secure the spell with no way of unbinding it. After the ritual was complete, Alice had successfully completed her wicked plot. What she evaded from Lucian was that she bound the spell to more than one condition.
Alice performed a mass spellbinding that relinquished anyone's memory of Anastasia. Consequently, not only Lucian had forgotten but Callum, Finn, and Elspeth had as well. Now there wasn't a single person who could remind Lucian about Anastasia. Her spell also removed Lucian's Mark on Anastasia. Therefore, he couldn't find her in this world even if he wanted to. Alice made it as if she never existed.
This was all part of Alice's plan. For Alice discovered Anastasia had an Incubi soul. Therefore, her blood would be powerful regardless of what body she possessed. When Anastasia turned 21 years of age, Alice would hunt her down and harvest her blood. Thus, she could use it to create an indestructible Coven of Werewolf Conjurers. No one would remember Anastasia and be willing to protect her, not even Lucian.
However, Lucian's belief in Soul Mate Fate would soon be proven truthful.
1800s
After Lucian's memories of Anastasia were erased, Alice wormed her way into Lucian's heart. He was vulnerable and lonely but simply didn't know why. Therefore, Alice became his comfort. The two bought property in the heart of France and began a life together.
By the late 19th century, a new upper class emerged in western Europe. Lucian married into Alice's aristocratic family and gained the status of a noble title. Their money was acquired by the industrial rich to support their lands and lifestyle. Lucian joined the military and became a very admirable soldier.
Despite the fame and fortune, Lucian obtained, he still wasn't happy. Something inside of him felt empty. There was a vacant space in his heart as if a piece of him was missing. He knew he wasn't in love with Alice. The mass property and riches did little to appease him. Lucian felt as if he'd be content with a humble life with a woman he cherished.
Although his mind couldn't remember Anastasia, his soul certainly did.
Alice noticed that Lucian was withdrawing himself from her and formed a plan of action. She had given him the opportunity numerous times to love her on his own accord. But if he still chose not to after the lengths she went to, she would simply spellbind him. What she wasn't aware of, was that Lucian had secretly been taking Witch Hazel; a plant that once consumed can block a spellbinding. When Alice went to place the spellbinding, that was Lucian's incentive to leave.
He departed Europe and never looked back.
1900s
Lucian traveled to the Americas. A new state had been founded a year prior, called Washington State. He settled into a cabin he built in the woodlands. He appreciated his newfound, humble lifestyle. However, Lucian was isolated and craved someone to keep his company.
During the roaring 20's, Lucian moved to the city. It was an utter culture shock for him. He had stumbled upon an era of dramatic social and political change. Society in the Americas was affluent, carefree and audacious. The jazz age had boomed and initiated a string of taverns across the city. As a 500-year-old Frenchman, Lucian had a difficult time adjusting to the new culture. He simply was modest and old-fashioned.
Lucian bought his first radio, electric refrigerator and automobile. He discovered a knack for cars and received a job as a mechanic. He started to make a stable income and homelife. His only desire was to share it with someone.
One evening, Lucian visited a speakeasy. He indulged on the cheap liquor and enjoyed the jazz music. Suddenly, he was approached by a strikingly beautiful woman. It was none other than Elspeth, his long lost friend. She had become a popular flapper girl, performer, and model. Not to mention, she was extremely wealthy. Lucian was astounded to see her once again, nevertheless thrilled. They spent many nights dancing to music and discussing their adventures in life over a glass of whiskey.
Lucian and Elspeth were finally free to express their fondness for one another. Lucian quickly realized she was the one he had been looking for. He fell deeply in love, as did Elspeth. However, Elspeth failed to mention she was mated to Essro Cohen. She kept Lucian in her pocket and allowed him to see her when she was working at the speakeasies.
Eventually, their surreptitious affair was brought to light. One evening, Callum was attending Elspeth's performance at a speakeasy. When he went backstage to congratulate her, Callum witnessed her pleasuring Lucian. In a sheer rage, Callum struck Lucian with a force so strong they both fell off their feet. Elspeth spilled all her secrets and admitted to having been intimate with Lucian for months. Lucian tried reasoning with Callum but he was too furious to listen. Callum revealed Elspeth already had a mate and Lucian's heart was shattered into a thousand pieces. He ended things with Elspeth that night.
In 1940, Lucian could no longer tolerate the city life. He packed his things and moved to a small town known as Thorpsedale. He met a man named Dean Duvall, who offered him a better life. He explained to Lucian that he was the Alpha of The Feral Pack and Lucian was welcome to become a member. Lucian had endured many centuries of isolation and jumped at the chance. For there was a possibility that he wouldn't have to spend his days alone anymore.
When Lucian joined The Feral Pack, he bonded strongly with Dean. He helped Lucian control his eating habits with methods that he learned first hand. Dean was not only Lucian's Alpha, he was his mentor. Dean taught him everything from hunting techniques, to auto mechanics, to love advice. Dean was the big brother Lucian never had. Lucian confided in him and shared personal information that he never admitted to anyone. Dean admired Lucian and saw him as his Spawn. Whereas Lucian admired Dean and wanted to be like him.
Jealousy sprouted between Lucian and The Feral Pack Secondhand Julius Galvez. For Julius had previously been Dean's confidant. Although Julius was a timid man of benevolent nature, Lucian brought out the worst in him. They would passive-aggressively harass one another on a regular basis. Nevertheless, this didn't affect Lucian's burgeoning friendship with Dean.
Dean introduced Lucian to a fellow pack member named Breaker Youngblood. Dean had also mentored Breaker prior to Lucian's arrival. Lucian saw many aspects of himself in Breaker and they bonded like long lost brothers. The three of them became extremely tight-knit. Lucian was overjoyed that he had finally found his true family.
However, in 1987, Breaker began dating a woman named Jack Wilson. She was a fellow pack member and incredibly beautiful. Breaker grew closer to Jack and drifted away from Lucian. Consequently, Lucian and Dean relied on each other for emotional support. This was a blessing in disguise, for it only strengthened their bond.
When Jack became Dean's Consort, the new mates began to spend more time together. Lucian joined their newfound alliance and they were three peas in a pod. Meanwhile, Breaker grew closer to Julius.
Over time, Lucian and Jack became inseparable. They shared similar life experiences and behavior. Jack was a tortured soul with the determination to thrive and this resonated with Lucian. Despite their broken hearts and haunting memories of their families, they still found the ability to love one another. Lucian considered Jack as his little sister.
During the 1990s, they grew fond of the grunge era and attended underground concerts in Seattle frequently. They indulged in drugs, alcohol, and prey. Jack reintroduced Lucian to his former eating habits that he had once suppressed. They went on a grotesque Brute’s binge that The Feral Pack had never witnessed prior. They spiraled into a rabid feeding frenzy, preying on hundreds of innocent people.
Among all the chaos, Lucian's guilty conscience returned to him once again. He analyzed himself and wondered what compelled him to lead a life of sin. Despite his newfound pack and alliances, he still felt incomplete. It was as if he was once again using consumption as a coping mechanism. Regardless of where he was, who he was with, or what he was doing, Lucian was provoked by sorrow. His life had no substance or purpose. Lucian knew deep within his soul, something - or someone - was missing. And he was determined to find it.
